From Danville VA take 58E toward South Boston. Turn Left onto Crystal Lane then turn left into our parking lot.
We are between the John Deere dealership and Raceway Convenience Store.
Preview day will be at the auction house Saturday Feb. 20 from 12:30 till 4:30pm. All other times by appointment only. Please call 434 251-2202 with any questions or to arrange a different pre-view time.

A 16% Buyers premium will be charged on each item you buy. We offer a 3% discount for CASH payment reducing your premium to 13%. Anyone wishing to pay by check must call and make arrangements prior to payment & pick-up. We accept MasterCard, VISA, Discover and American Express.
Virginia sales tax of 5.3% will also be added to each transaction. If you are TAX EXEMPT you MUST give us a current copy of your sales tax certificate BEFORE you pay. We must have a copy of the certificate, we cannot just put your number in our system.

Pick-up day is Wed. Feb. 24th from Noon till 6:00pm and Saturday Feb. 27th from 10am-3pm. Other pick-up times are by appointment only.  A storage fee of $5.00 per day begins on the Sunday following the auction and accrues each day until all items are either picked up or forfeited. All items not picked up and paid in full, including storage fees, on the 30th day following the last advertised pick up date are considered abandoned and/or forfeited and become the property of River City Auction Company. All payments you have made are forfeited and not refundable.

During this COVID-19 pandemic anyone entering the Auction House must wear a mask. If you cannot wear a mask due to medical reasons please call ahead and let us know. We can bring small, lightweight items to your vehicle without coming into close contact with you. We cannot load large or heavy items for you so please bring someone that can wear a mask and load your items.
Please bring your own bags, boxes, shipping blankets, packaging materials, ratchet straps, etc. on pick-up day as we do not supply these items. Also, please bring any help you may need to load items as we do not always have someone on site to help you load.

If you are the winning bidder on any of the following items and your total purchase is over $25.00 we cannot accept credit card payment unless you have a established payment history with River City Auction Company. The following items can only be paid for by cash or certified funds:
Jewelry, coins, paper money, silver or gold items of any kind including sterling.

Pick-up day is the Wednesday following the close of Auction on Tuesday from Noon till 6pm and the next Saturday from 10am-3pm. Other pick-up times are by appointment only. A storage fee of $5.00 per day begins immediately after the last listed pick-up day and accrues each day until all items are either picked up or forfeited. All items not picked up and paid for including storage fees by 4pm 30 days after the last listed pick-up day are considered abandoned and/or forfeited and become the property of River City Auction Company and all payments you have made are forfeited and not refundable.
If we experience a technical failure, software failure or our Platform goes down for any reason we will not end the auction but will extend it once the problem is fixed and the auction is back on-line. If you are a bidder and a failure occurs you may contact us and we will keep you informed as to when you can expect the auction to be back on-line.
All owners and employees rather full time, part time or temporary have the right to bid on any items in our auctions with the exception of their own consigned items once the Reserve, if any, has been met.
